Grand Opening!
We are so grateful to so many from our community who came out to support our Grand Opening on May 1st, 2022.

Online Gaming
This is a game of Dungeons and Dragons, run over Zoom. The adventure continues - still rolling dice, still doing our math and statistics, still being a hero!
The DM's View
What running an online game looks like behind the scenes. There's a little more prep needed to get ready for the adventures, but I'm glad we can still do it.

This hangs outside of our workshop space.
Hero Creation
Creating the perfect hero requires imagination, a little writing, and math!
Preparing for Adventure!
Spell Cards
These cards were a big help early on for some of our younger heroes.
A dubious proposal...
What if we joined the bandits instead of fought them?
Level up!
It's a good idea to work with your group when deciding what new powers to pick when you pass a level.
Assemble your Heroes!
Here we see a party of adventurers as they prepare to quest at a local Ren Faire.
A Pitched Battle
We create our own game boards for each scenario. Every session, it's something new and different to overcome!
Narrow Passage
Our intrepid adventurers carefully creep into the next cavern, alert for what dangers may reveal themselves within...
I see your d20...
I would say that it's not all fun and games, but that wouldn't be 100% accurate...
Not Homework!
Do not confuse what you see here with school work. This is what we do for fun!
This kid hates writing
But look at him go! Ignite a child's imagination, and they will be excited to express themselves.
DM Jane
Jane is not only one of our great Dungeon Masters, but she is also our Program Director.
She's pictured here delivering the bad news to the party that a Dracolich has appeared.

Wild Magic Dragon
This is a custom creature that we created for an epic birthday party. Birthdays at The Hero Workshop are unique, sometimes multi-table events. For this party, we had 17 heroes battling! Each of our 3 tables was a separate location on the battlefield, and players were moving between tables to deal with multiple problems that needed solving to win the day.
Birthday Parties at The Hero Workshop
Who wouldn't want to spend the day adventuring with their friends on their birthday? For this party, we had TWO birthday heroes and their friends adventuring together.
Happy Halloween!
I like dressing up as my DnD character for Halloween, especially when the costume works even if you don't know the game. Like this wizard that I went with this year.
