Welcome to The Hero Workshop! This pic is from our Grand Opening, which was on May 1st, 2022.
I am very excited to announce that The Hero Workshop now has a new, permanent home in Culver City! Our new location can be found at 4455 Overland Street. We have 2 gaming tables, a couch to relax on when you're not actively playing (or if you're waiting for your young hero to finish their game), and merch!
The Hero Workshop will be selling T-Shirts, Hoodies, Mini Figures, and all the Books and Dice that you'll need to play the world's greatest role playing game. We are hosting new events all the time as we grow into our new digs - next up we will be offering 4 weeks of Summer Camp starting the week of June 13th, and ending July 8th.
It is so awesome to walk in to The Hero Workshop and see two tables full of adventurers doing their thing! The energy of the new space is great, and I look forward to many, many more adventures here.
The Evolution of the Space
When we found the space, it was a storage space that used to be a performance lounge for a local cafe. It had been sitting unused for the last 5+ years. Our first order of business was to clear out the furniture and remove the old stage, then update the electrical. Once that was done, we were able to add the Driftglobes (lighting), assemble our gaming tables and chairs, put up the retail shelves, and move all of the books and minis in.

We ran games there for three weeks before our Grand Opening on May 1st. At our grand opening, we had food and refreshments, a table set up for a crowd sourced dragon fight, a craft table set up, and a touchscreen monitor set up where heroes could create their own custom minis using HeroForge. A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our new game center!
