WHAT IS THE HERO WORKSHOP?
The Hero Workshop is an interactive storytelling workshop for heroes age 8 and up. Heroes join a group of up to 7 for a weekly appointment with adventure, where one of our professional narrators (called a Game Master) will present scenarios to the heroes at the table. Together the Heroes decide what they will do in the scene, then they roll dice to determine success.
It's fun, a great way to ignite the imagination, and we will touch on many educational aspects as part of our adventures including basic math, algebra, puzzle solving, teamwork and collaboration, and of course storytelling.

CREATIVITY
The Hero Workshop uses table top role playing games like Dungeons and Dragons to ignite imagination, inspire creative writing and character development.
You will create a hero of your own. Will you be a brave knight, a powerful wizard, or a crafty rogue?
Then, the narrator tells you what your hero sees in a scene. You decide what your hero will do, and we roll dice to determine the outcome.
TEAMWORK
Together, we create and experience an interactive story as a group. Team up with up to 7 other Heroes as you embark on your adventure!
Each hero has their own strengths and weaknesses, and you'll have to work together to succeed in your quest.
As an added benefit - no two workshops are ever the same!
LEARNING
We're going to sneak in a little math in there, as well as some statistics, puzzle solving, analytical thinking, and of course reading and writing.
The Hero Workshop is a great supplement to your young hero's education. Each hero will be calculating their hero's abilities when they attempt to befriend a noble, climb a castle wall, or strike a goblin.
