March is a big one at The Hero Workshop!
Not only will we be starting our Spring Camp this month, we are also hosting our final Sword Fighting Saturday (because starting in April we'll be offering Sword Fighting every week!), doing a Magic Draft, and Summer Camp is now on the store. It's a big month, so let's get into it!

REGULAR GAMES CLOSED FOR SPRING BREAK
March 22nd - April 4th
During these two weeks, we will not be offering our regular weekly games (this includes the weekend games for the weekend of March 22 and March 29, but we will be back to normal starting Saturday April 5th).
We will be offering free One Shot adventures on Tuesdays and Thursdays during those two weeks - sign ups are below!

Weekly Wednesday Painter's Parlor
every Wednesday from 4:00-6:00

Come join the talented Chris Mills for our weekly painting workshop. This is where you can learn great new techniques for painting miniatures, from dry brushing to applying washes to make those minis come to life!
You are welcome to use our paints, brushes, and super glue - Chris will be on hand to provide expert guidance and demonstrate mini painting techniques to get your mini collection looking pro. Painter's Parlor will be held every Wednesday from 4:00-6:00.

Thursday Night Magic

Join the illustrious Randal Rhodes, our premier Magic Judge, as he guides you through the ins and outs of Magic: the Gathering.
For those unfamiliar, MtG is a trading card game in which you take on the role of a wizard engaged in a wizard duel with your opponent. You use magical Lands to power your spells, and summon creatures to defend you, use powerful artifacts, and craft tricksome spells to best your opponent.
Thursday Night Magic is a fun, free-for-all type of event where you can come in with any deck you like and find a willing opponent to test your mettle.

March 6th
Level 1 Game Master Training

This group will meet every Thursday night from 6:00-8:00 for four weeks starting on March 6th.
Whether you are brand new to mastering the game, or you're a seasoned GM looking to pick up some extra tricks of the trade, our GM Workshop series is a great opportunity to learn from some of the professional Game Masters at The Hero Workshop. This introduction series will lay the foundation for any Game Master. Level 1 focuses on preparing for your first session, and we will learn the basics of encounter design, what makes a game session memorable, and everything you need to know to run the first session of any tabletop role playing game.

Magic Draft: Aetherdrift
1:00 - 5:00 $25
Leave your competition in the dust! Get behind the wheel in Aetherdrift, a multiversal race filled with adrenaline-fueled Magic gameplay across three planes.
Every participant in a Magic draft will receive 3 booster packs for a total of 42 new cards. Packs are opened one at a time, when you open the first pack you take the best card, then pass the deck to your neighbor. Every participant does this until the first pack is depleted, then we repeat it for the other two booster packs until everyone has constructed the best deck they can from the cards on hand - then we compete.
Winners get extra boosters, and the grand prize is a box topper (super special awesome card that will make all of your friends jealous)!

SWORD FIGHTING SATURDAY!

Sharpen your skills and step onto the battlefield at our next Sword Fighting Day on Saturday, February 22nd! This action-packed event teaches heroes of all ages the fundamentals of swordplay, defensive techniques, and strategic combat—all with foam swords and shields! Classes are divided by age group to ensure the best experience, with sessions running throughout the day: 8-10 years (10:00-11:00), 10-12 years (11:30-12:30), 12-15 years (1:00-2:00), and an all-ages session (2:30-3:30). Whether you’re training for your next great adventure or just looking to have fun, this is your chance to learn the art of the blade!

This five-day camp is packed with exciting activities where heroes get to choose their own adventure—whether it’s diving into all-day D&D, sharpening their skills in sword fighting training, unleashing their creativity in mini painting and arts & crafts, or exploring a new one-page RPG every day. Our regular campaigns will all be on break during the spring break this year while we're running our camp. BUT, if you still need to get your DnD on - don't despair! We've got you covered. Feel free to come on in for a FREE three hour one-shot adventure on either Tuesday or Thursday evenings from 4:30-7:30. Seating is limited, so please sign up in advance so we can make sure we have seats and staff available. Walk-ins are welcome if there's room - but we tend to fill up so no guarantees!
Summer Camp!
Our Summer Camp is pretty darn special, and we would love to invite every hero in our community to come see what it's all about. This summer, we are adding sword fighting daily, and in addition to the usual One Page RPGs and Dungeons and Dragons, we will be running games of Daggerheart each week!
Our Summer Camp is a lot like our Spring Camp, heroes will decide how they would like to spend their time at The Hero Workshop. We will have All Day DnD, Half Day DnD, Daggerheart, Board Games, Mini Painting, Arts and Crafts, Sword Fighting Training and Swimming.
We provide a healthy and delicious lunch at all of our camps, and for our Summer Camp we will also have an exclusive, custom designed t-shirt for each participant to take home and wear proudly all year long.
